Fieldplot ("we") respects the privacy of this app's users ("you"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.
Fieldplot does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, email, or other personal identifiers.
Data stored locally on your device (never sent to our servers):
Fieldplot has no backend server of its own. We do not collect usage analytics or statistics.
Data sent to third parties while using the app:
Map tiles — to display the map, your device requests map tile images from:
These requests include your device's IP address and the map area you're viewing (not your precise GPS location, unless you're viewing your current position). See each provider's own privacy policy for how they handle this.
Google AdMob — to show ads, AdMob may collect your Advertising ID, device data, and ad-interaction data per Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads through your Google account settings.
Google Play Billing — if you purchase "Remove Ads", the transaction is processed by Google Play, not by us. We only receive confirmation of purchase status, not your payment details.
Fieldplot requests location permission solely to measure area and perimeter as you walk, and to show your position on the map. Location data is used entirely on-device and stored only in the projects you choose to save — it is never transmitted to us.
Information collected by AdMob is used to display relevant ads and measure ad performance. We do not sell or share user data with anyone beyond what's described above.
We do not store any of your personal data on our servers, since we don't operate one. Your projects are stored locally on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
You can delete all local app data at any time via your device Settings → Apps → Fieldplot → Clear Data, or by uninstalling the app.
